Is God not letting me travel?

Hey internet friends!

Guess what? I sprained my ankle from falling down the stairs. It was horrid! I swear it was funny. I didn't even realise that I fell down until BAM I was at the floor. It was the funniest shit that happened.

Brain: Eh eh, did you just fell Faizah?
Me: Ya la, I think I just fell.

But thank God for this lovely lady who helped me up and brought me to the nearest chair. Even helped me call my sis! Hopefully I will be able to recover fast enough before my test week!!
Well thats all. Sorry for the super short update. Hopefully I will be able to update this blog more often!!

Good Old Back to School

Hi Internet friends!

Greetings from school. Currently writing this blog post at 8 am in the morning in school. Its really a burden to start school at 9am and having to stay super near to school. I swear on my life that the nearer you are to school, the harder it is to get to school. The bus delays and especially the morning jams, they are ridiculously long and dreadful. Believe me, it takes me freaking 45 minutes just to reach school during a jam and I live 4 bus stops away. Come on, the bus company really have to step pub their game! To those who are actually living far from your current school. Be grateful that you can still alight the bus. In addition to that, the lecturers logic of having us to walk to school is even more absurd. The only thing we could do is just sneer at their stupidity.

Anyways, so the main point of this blog post to actually talk about school. Oh yay, school. Well, I know that many dread to go to school and can't wait to simply graduate and start the "awesome working life and not need to learn and study to prepare themselves for exams. Well, sorry to burst your bubble my friends. Working life is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. I am not even joking. I honestly too did want to graduate and start working, save money, travel, save more money buy an apartment and have kids. But since having gone to internship, OH MY GOD. Working life is so much harder than actually going to school and working part time. The commitments and responsibilities that you have to carry. I'm not so sure if its because of the career option that I'm currently engaging(can't seems to find the right word to use) in right now, which is Early Childhood Educator, it can be so draining for me. Emotionally and physically. Especially when you're working with children that needs special attention and care. However, there are some times where I feel like working can be more full filing. Both of it has it pros and cons; like in the working life, you don't have to worry about exams, not having to understand certain topics and doing your assignments. However, there are things that can also could be classified as an "exam" in work life. For instances, working out communication with your colleagues, satisfying your boss with your work effort and  balancing social life and work life. I think both have each their own attributes that can have positive and negative effect on us. We just have to find which on it is suited for us.

Time is also a factor for us to think about. Although working life may seem to be not fitted for you like how it is for me. Its not because we are less responsible or less talent. Sometimes, some people can take a longer time to adapt and take up more responsibilities than other. It just takes time.

Well then, this is a freaking long blog post. I didn't expect it to be this long. But anyways, lets just enjoy our school lives while we can! By the way, Im still unsure if I want to join university or go to joint the work force. Urgh, God damn it.

Cheers,
XOXO

Fast Fashion isn't so fashionable after all.

Hi Internet friends!

Forever 21, Zara, H&M and Cotton On are major fast fashion brands that everyone living in the 21st contrary would know. These brands could have their clothes on their racks bought clean within two minutes of replenishing it. Crazy right? However, Im pretty sure you are one of those people because embarrassingly I was too. Before, I would flock all over to these brands to buy my clothes because of their cheap prices, especially, Uniqlo because I love basics (who doesn't?). However, why does these brands make their clothing so cheap? Do they even profit? Other than the reason being the materials they used that was thin that I could even see my nude bra, what other else could be the reason? Let John Oliver explain to you.

Definitely, after watching this, it would change your perception of these brands but of course a cheap, its difficult to change our hopping habits. I suggest finding local independent labels that you might love!

XOXO

May review

Hi Internet friends!
For May Review, I have only two product.

The first product would be Etude House's blackhead remover product pack.

think it kind of works but I don't really like how it do remove the blackheads from my skin. The remover X feels super duper rough on my skin. Like it really hurts when I use it especially on the skin around my nose. It actually have like the tingling painful feeling. Which I don't like. Although it does what it's supposed to do which is why it's my favourite. But at the same time, I don't like what it's doing to my skin. Another thing which I don't like is the smoothing cream. It makes my skin too oily. Especially the t-zone area!

RATING : 2/5

The other product is Faceshop's sleeping mask. Its really a great product. I can feel that it is moisturise to my skin and I love  how it has a gel like texture although it's supposed to be a moisturising mask! It's skind of overpriced but I bought it on discount. The smell is also nice but if you have sensitive skin, I recommend that you don't use this or if you want, test it first before using it on your whole face. I've let my friends use this product and so far, everyone liked it except for my friend who have super sensitive skin. She ended up having red blotches on her face. I have sensitive skin but I didn't really have this effect on me but my friend did. So, I suggest you to be careful when using this product. But other then that, I LOVE IT!

RATING: 4/5

Thats all for this month's reviews! See you all soon. Be grateful and enjoy your life.

Cheers,
XOXO

2015 Half Year Favourites!

Hello there internet friends!

This half year's favourites are mostly Innisfree product! I recently had finished up my Innisfree's green tea line product. This time round, I decided to try out the new orchid line, specifically the gel that was specially made for oily skin!  The packaging came out in the typical innisfree containers.
Personally, i find the smell of this product really nice, the texture is exactly like a gel, rather thick and quite easy to spread on my face. I have been using this for a week now. It's doing exactly what it claims to do; maintain moisture on skin without making it oily! I actually quite amazed by this! I use it at night as well and surprisingly, the next morning, my skin remains moisturised and NOT OILY!! usually my skin will end up being oily  the next after i use my aloe gel but for this it doesn't. The only place that turns oily is my T-zone area which is really common. I am honestly throughly satisfied with this! It amazing how I can already feel the difference on my skin after only using this for a week!

RATING: 5/5

Another product that that helps keep my face moisturised and refreshed is the Jeju Mist! Super in love with this because its super convent to carry around unlike my La Rosay-Porsay Thermal mist which is freaking huge! This Jeju mist has this really refreshing scent to it, almost lemonish smell! It really helps when you are out in such a hot weather and your skin is oily and you need to freshen up. You just have to spray this and you're done! The only thing I don't fancy about this product is the way it sprays. I prefer those compressed canned mist where the droplets comes out really fine. But for this Mist, the droplets comes out more bigger and i have to sometimes pat in the mist.

RATING: 3/5

I have heard the craze about the volcanic clay mask and I obviously just had to get my hands on them! Like finally! Previously, I have been using the Freeman avocado clay mask and it made my skin break out and causes skin irritation. So, for this volcanic clay, i was bit worried about using it. But since the salsesperson told me that it is a natural product and rarely people get skin irritation for it, i decided to try it as well. Its actually quite good! Like not bad! It actually helps makes my skin more smoother. Especially the nose and the chin area, where all my blackheads and pores are! Its not bad. The texture is much thicker than usual clay mask an it has these small bits of things which I don't know what it is but it kind of makes spreading the clay on my skin difficult. In addition, the clay dries up super fast so you need to actually spread the mask fast! I have only used it twice. Theres a small differences but not that MUCH of a difference. I will try use it more and post up the before and after photo of my nose soon!

RATING - NIL

Another product is the no sebum control white powder. Love the fact that its in a super small compartment that comes with a cute white puff! Very convenient but pricy... 10 bucks for this is a little too much. However its efficient and makes my skin stay matt. Just make sure you spread and blend properly! You don't want white patches on your faces right??

RATING - 3/5

Lastly is the sunscreen which I freaking love!! Its a little pricy but I think its worth it. SpF 50 and PA+++! Its not sticky and actually rather good for people with oily skin!

RATING - 5/5

Thats all I have for the half year favourites! Stay tuned for my end year favourite products! See you all soon! Be grateful as always.

Cheers,
XOXO

UNHOLY TRIO 2.0

Hey there Internet friends.

Guess who went out with lé besties? Obviously me. Who else right?

Well, it's our second year together so we decided to go out and have some fun here and there around Singapore. We did some sightseeing okay? Saw the artsy fartsy side of Singapore. Went to see Medium at Large again. For the third time. God damn it. I really love that exhibition. Especially the missing children collection. Anyways, we went to eat our dinner at Eat. Play. Love cafe. It was not bad. The food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was really bright, colourful but a little bit over stimulating for me. But nonetheless, I had fun.

I can't pose for God's sake.

YOU DONT KNOW HOW FAR I STOOD TO TAKE THESE PHOTOS WITH THE CATS...

Dinner and dessert was great!

Thats all.

Cheers.
